Did you notice what just happened in the UK? British Parliament just approved the legalization of “same-sex marriage.” We are watching our own nation following right along with the same morality (or lack of it). The cultural acceptance (even the hostile, forceful “celebration”) of homosexuality is exponentially increasing right before our eyes.
Is this good in any way for Christians? As for the moral standards which have accommodated a Christian lifestyle and witness in the west, the answer is NO: these are troubling and increasingly unfriendly times. But as for God’s plans in all of this, we can be sure that this is very good.
God predicted such days: “But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty (2 Timothy 3:1).” Here is a quick little article assessing where we are, with encouragement for us as believers:
