Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
O Come Let Us Adore Him, Christ the Lord
We’ll Give Him All the Glory
For He Alone is Worthy
Windsor Baptist Church is counter-cultural in it’s observance of the birth of Christ. Instead of following our secular, hedonistic culture’s approach to Advent and Christmas which has all but removed Christ from Christmas, Windsor Baptist magnifies the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in our worship services and ministries.
Worship services will lift up the name of Jesus Christ through the preaching of the Word, prayer, and the music ministry. Sunday, December 3, is the first Sunday in Advent. In the morning service we will be observing the ordinance of communion as well as welcoming 9 new members into our fellowship. Sunday Evening’s Concert of Prayer will focus on praying for a heaven-sent revival that will awaken the slumbering church to reach the lost with the Good News of Christ’s birth in the month of December.
In the evening service on December 10 we will have a mission’s emphasis. We will fellowship over a light supper and then hear how Christ has blessed our outreach and summer youth ministries.
On December 17th, in the afternoon, we will be participating in the Windsor Family Christmas by leading multiple worship services at Abraxas as we did last year. The Gospel will be presented along with gifts, bibles and food to the young people. We will be adoring Christ the Lord in a place where people truly need salvation.
December 24th, Christmas Eve, will feature all the regular Sunday morning ministries. There will be a Candle Light Christmas Eve Service at 7 PM. The service will conclude with Christmas caroling in a candle lit sanctuary.
New Year’s Eve, Sunday, December 31 will have the usual ministries during the day.
There will be a special New Year’s Eve service that evening at 7 PM.
Christmas at Windsor is all about worshiping Jesus Christ. I encourage you to come and worship Christ the Lord with us, giving Him all the glory this Advent Season, for He Alone is Worthy.
We Wish You a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
