Purpose:
For servant-minded members among the Windsor fellowship to demonstrate the love of Christ through practical and tangible connections with fellow brothers and sisters. This care will be for members unable to share in in-person worship or fellowship events due to special needs or for others facing difficult life challenges. These purposeful connections are ways to serve our family members, encourage them, and strengthen them in the faith on a consistent, ongoing basis.
Aims:
- To support and assist the elders in caring for members under an overseeing elder.
- To enlarge the scope and “personal touch” of member caregiving through additional members committed to making calls, sending cards, serving meals, and making visits whenever possible to church family members in need.
- For these ministry members to meet together on occasion for prayer, personal sharing, and beneficial teaching / training opportunities.
- For the overseeing elder to make regular connections with caregiving members to offer encouragement and provide for any needs they may have.
If you would like to learn more about this ministry, please contact Bob Emmett or reach out to any of the elders through the church office.
