October 2020 Update

Current Project Status

With congregational approval during the annual business meeting, we are officially moving forward with site development. This will begin once Final Land Development is approved by Upper Uwchlan Township Supervisors. Groundbreaking for the new building will follow in Spring 2021.

Ludgate, our civil engineer, submitted additional information for the trail extension along Park Road to the Township Engineer. This will be a separate project that will be installed after the classroom building is finished and no later than 5 years after receiving approval for Final Land Development. This project will also remove the parsonage and garage to allow us the opportunity to provide a more inviting aesthetic presentation of Windsor. This trail extension is being treated as a separate project to ensure that the current project does not exceed the 1-acre disturbance limitation.

What’s Ahead in November

  • Final land development plans and trail extension information to be presented to the Board of Supervisors.
  • Wild Turkey 5K: Thanksgiving Day, 9AM at Marsh Creek State Park.
If you know anyone who would like to run (or walk) in this event, please direct them to windsorca.org. Reach out to friends and neighbors to encourage visitors in the race. Not only is this a fundraiser, but also an outreach event for the church and schools.
  • Giving Tuesday, December 1, is a global day of giving. Each donation made to WCA on Facebook that day has the opportunity for a Facebook match. Last year, thanks to the generosity of donors, a total of $3900 was raised while receiving matching donations of $400 from Facebook. What can you do? If you are on Facebook, please share the link to boost it to as many people as possible to create an awareness of WCA and WCP.
