November 2020 Update

Current Project Status

On Thanksgiving morning, Windsor hosted the 1st Annual Wild Turkey 5K at Marsh Creek State Park. Despite only having 4 weeks lead time, the event sold out with 250 runners. Many runners who were not associated with the church or Academy participated in the race and met many of our church volunteers. The weather report called for downpours that morning, but prayers were answered and God held back the rain! It was a beautiful day to run with the sun shining at the end of the race. What a mighty God we serve!

We had hoped the event would raise between $5-$7,000 but God blessed us again and the event raised over $14,000 for the building fund. Thank you to our very generous sponsors whose names appear on the back of the 5K T-shirt.

Final land development has been submitted for final comments to Upper Uwchlan’s Township Engineer. This review will allow the Supervisors to discuss and vote on the package during the December Township meeting. After land development is approved by the Township Supervisors, we will obtain our permits and can begin on site development activities. At that time, Windsor will submit the final building plans to the township for code compliance and review which should take an additional 2-3 months before we can initiate building construction activities. A groundbreaking event for new the building will be scheduled in Spring 2021.

Below is a breakdown of what is needed financially to begin building.
