February 2019 Update
Current Project Status
On Sunday, February 10th, Phil Marks addressed the congregation to share a building progress update that highlighted our new partnership with Jeff Knauer of Kirby-Smith Associates. The Building Committee has already had two meetings with Jeff. He confirmed how far ahead we are in the process prior to bringing a consultant on board (a savings of about $20K), and started great discussions for next steps towards launching a successful capital campaign.
We met with the Civil Engineer to review our Land Development Package in preparation for submitting it to the township. The project construction disturbance area is now less than an acre; this is a huge answer to prayer as it saves us money and time. We plan to submit the land development plans and associated fees to the township within the next 2 weeks. This submission will then be distributed to the township engineer and county for their review and comments prior to the formal presentation to the planning commission in April.
What’s Ahead in March
- Finalize Land Development Package to township and county for review
- Review submitted Design Build Contractor Packages
- Continue crafting capital campaign
