August 2019 Update
Current Project Status
We are now officially under contract with Horst Construction and are beginning preconstruction activities. This month, we began selecting construction methods that will optimize cost, function, and appearance.
On Thursday, August 8th, the Upper Uwchlan Planning Commissioners recommended phase 1 of our building project for conditional hearing request. This hearing took place on Tuesday, August 13th. It was a productive discussion, covering our plans to build, how we desire to meet village aesthetics, and the waivers we requested. The meeting was only with the supervisors and township solicitor. By township requirement, the supervisors have 45 days to render a decision during a public meeting. Please pray that God grants us a favorable decision in September.
What’s Ahead in September
- Review township supervisors conditional hearing recommendations
- Conduct project review meeting with Architect, Civil Engineer, and General Contractor to advance design and manage costs
- Review and modify land development package to address conditional hearing recommendations and prepare for submittal and presentation at future Planning Commission Meeting.
