April 2020 Update
Current Project Status
It is hard to believe that it has been one full year since we all met together in Fellowship Hall and kicked off our Building a Community of Faith capital campaign. And it is in greater amazement to see how God has provided $1.2 million dollars! What a tremendous gift He has provided through YOU!
Thank you for your generosity and for honoring your pledge committed last year. As we kick off year two, we would like to encourage you to keep praying about your commitment to this campaign.
During these uncertain times, Windsor’s goal stands firm: to reach as many families as possible for Christ. Completing this building project is one way we can reach our greater community. It is our prayer that we can all be together again soon and reschedule our presentations to the school families and others. God has a plan, we just have to trust Him.
Because of the current restrictions due to COVID-19, as you can imagine, there has been a lot of aspects of our project that have unfortunately stalled. However, we have been diligent to continue to move forward in any way that we can. One area that hasn’t seen much slow down is the work and conversations with Horst to go from our 60% drawings to 90% drawings. These are the building designs that are getting more finalized and more in-line with our budget as we continue down this road. God has been faithful to us that we were in this stage when COVID-19 hit since revising from 60% to 90% has been able to happen during all the stay-at-home mandates.
What’s Ahead in May
Horst is currently utilizing their updated 90% drawings to develop the GMP (Guarantee Maximum Price) which is expected at the end of May. We will present this information in the future, when we meet again as a congregation.
