to Grow the Family of God
Windsor Christian Preschool Windsor Baptist Church Windsor Christian Academy

Why Build?

TO EVANGELIZE AND DISCIPLE OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY.

Through the Academy and Preschool, we teach children the Gospel, we minister to teachers and staff, and we gain an opportunity to connect with parents and family members. We especially desire to connect with un-churched families, that they might come to know God by hearing the gospel through their children, staff, and our church outreach.

TO SUPPORT THE GROWTH.

The Academy and Preschool have both experienced significant growth, filling almost all of the available church space plus the aging modular units. The blessing of this growth requires more room for both schools as well as space to support expanding church ministries.

STEPPING OUT IN FAITH TO BUILD

Back in June 2018, the Windsor Baptist Church congregation raised $500,000 towards the funds for this building project. We hit our initial goal of this campaign and now it is time to step out in faith and seek the rest of the $2.5 million to complete Phase 1 of our building project.

We know that raising $2.5 million is no easy task, however, we believe that God is going before us and opening the doors to build. He will provide the funds by moving in the hearts of generous donors. We wait in anticipation at the work God will do!

HOW CAN I GIVE?

There are several ways to give towards the building program.

PRAY WITH US

CURRENT PRAYER REQUESTS

  • As a church, we have been praying that our congregation would grow. The Lord has presented an opportunity to us this fall as the Academy enrollment has grown significantly and many of these new families are seeking the Lord and a church. May we continue to trust the Lord to show these families love through the school ministries and let Him provide our needs to break ground for this new classroom building.
  • For the Guaranteed Maximum Price to meet our limitations, or for God to exceed our limitations
  • For health and safety for all our congregation, students, parents, and teachers during this pandemic
  • Wisdom to know what changes to make to have the project cost more in line with our budget.
  • That we would be good witnesses while advocating for a reasonable resolution regarding the Park Road sidewalk issue.
  • As we move forward with critical decisions, pray that Windsor will construct the building that the Lord wants and not labor in vain in any of our own aspirations.
  • Wisdom to lock in mortgage terms at a favorable time.
  • Pray for guidance in selecting people with the gifts and skill sets to serve on sub-committees of the Building Committee.
  • God to stir our congregation to glorify God by building a community of faith through prayer, evangelism, and making disciples.
  • God to provide us with $3 million to build the new building so we can build a community of faith.
